Born in a small town Newland, NC, Tipton was born a third generation barber on his fathers side of the family. By 16 years old he knew that his passion to continue the barber tradition was in his blood, having grown up in his family barber shop.

Tipton graduated barber school in Bristol, VA, at the age of 17, honing his craft for 3 years in Morganton, NC with the aid of his family by his side. He is happily married and relocated to Charlotte in 2018 where he happily resides living his dream.
